What is Inderal
Inderal is prescribed patients with cardiovascular diseases of different etiology and level of the severity. It has antianginal, hypotensive, and antiarrhythmic effect improves the work of the heart, stimulates the peripheral vessels and may increase the necessity in oxygen especially in patients with chronic heart failure.
In the medical practice, Inderal is oftentimes prescribed for the treatment of the arterial hypertension, stenocardia, tachycardia, myocardial infraction and even prophylaxis of migraine.
This drug is a broad-spectrum pharmacological action and taking it you can significantly reduce the chance of the appearance of the cardiovascular diseases. It is not obligatory to take this medicine during the appearance of the disease. If you feel bad, notice a frequent increase of the arterial pressure, pain in the heart or rapid heartbeat, you can have a preventive course of the treatment and prevent the appearance of the severer diseases.
Inderal dosage and use
At the same time, the dosage regimen during the maintaining therapy does not differ from the dosage during the medical therapy. Usually, patients are prescribed tablets of Inderal from 40 to 80 mg 2 times per day. In case of the dysfunction of liver it is necessary to lower the dose because liver takes part in the excretion of the active components of the drug from the body.
